Marcus Brown AKA M. Aurelius is a Producer/DJ in Los Angeles. Just like many other black families, Marcus spent his Saturday morning’s cleaning house with the sounds of Motown, Philly Soul, Doo Wop, Disco, and Funk playing. His interest became more prevalent listening to his older sister’s tape collections of new and emerging music such as Tribe Called Quest and Busta Rhymes. Which has inspired his sound and motivation to bring a fun and nostalgic time to people everywhere.
After earning his Bachelors in Music Production, M. Aurelius got his start working for one of the largest cruise ship companies in the world. After 5 years of bringing parties to thousands all over the world, he continues working with companies, brands, venues, and private clients to extend the party to those on shore.
M.Aurelius expands constantly with his production and curation of his own events. He seeks to unite his own community with his free roller skate themed night called Soul Roll, highlighting the Saturday mornings where Disco and Funk illuminated his home.
