Meet —DJ Throbak

Marlon T. also known as DJ Throbak is a Los Angeles area native with over 15 years of DJ experience. Since 2001 when he got his first pair of turntables he has DJ’d all over the LA area for multiple clients and various gigs ranging from clubs, lounges, clothing stores, weddings, and DJ competitions. When it comes to genres of music Throbak cannot be limited by genres. His music ranges from Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Oldies, Trip Hop, House, Pop, Rock and even EDM.

Throbak does many new and old artist spotlight mixes which are featured on Mixcloud, Audiomac & SoundCloud. The name Throbak means he incorporates throwback tracks with current musical styles. Sometimes even focusing on an Artist’s newer and at times little known older tracks.

DJ Throbak attended Long Beach City College where he received a certificate in Radio and Television Producer Certificate. During his time there he hosted his own radio show for two years. He also attended Los Angeles Harbor College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. Currently, DJ Throbak is developing a new radio show in the form of a Podcast program.
